A LOVE RAK!!!

Well, it is time for a RAK on this blog!

(set of 8 mini handmade post cards, each says "love big")

The last one was the bike RAK
and that was a little out of control!

(mostly because i didn't know what the give away was going to be!)

SO, In honor of the newest piece of art I have just finished,
(which you can see more of
over at my shop),
i am doing a give away!

why don't you leave a comment telling me about
the most recent creative thing you have done -
it can be anything -
a meal you have cooked,
some art you made,

the way you rearranged the furniture,
even a clever way of handling an argument!

if you have a picture,
throw in the link just for fun!

My random number generator will pick a winner,
who will win a set of 8 mini postcards

from my esty shop!!!

I love your blog and your artwork, and have been eyeing those fab postcard sets. :) I'd be thrilled to win a set.
(and I love your new piece.. :))

hmm.. I treated myself to Elsie's online class a few weeks ago, which started this week... http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/11/last-call-for-c.html ...I can't wait to spend six wonderful weeks with her + the other classmates. :)

i'm glad you mentioned the kitchen. i think that is where i am most creative. on halloween, i put together a kid-friendly appetizer menu--mini cheeseburgers, pizza pockets, dips, etc. and then i made cookies out of candy.

for the centerpiece, i used a hurricane filled about 1/3 way with candy corn and then put a tea light on top.

we listened to the jerry seinfeld halloween cd after dinner.

it was the first holiday that i felt i had taken ownership and made some special memories and traditions for the kids. :D

How fun...I participated in my first happy mail swap and I made an album for my partner out of mailing envelopes. Each page was a pocket she could store ephemera or hidden journaling in. You can see it here:

Nice work!

Happy Anny again, hope your trip was lovely and oh so relaxing.
The creative juices haven't been flowing for me for a good week or two...but I did do a couple of drawings yesterday.

yes.
i need these.
(okay maybe want)
i got dan to put up a feature shelf
(miraculous in itself. dan and diy do not get on.)
and am slowly putting it together.
although i have discovered i'm not very good at home decor, or arranging stuff. i need somebody to come in and put together the vision i have in my head.
also. i made some stuff. but that's kinda predictable.
love x

okay, so my recent creative exploit (spell?) is not yet complete. i saw this cute wire christmas card holder in pottery barn, studied it for long moments and then went and bought the wire. i attacked it with my needle-nose plyers with a vengence. i think it's going to look good...when i finish it. i'm like 1/6 of the way there...
