Okay,Cara:
My favorite vacation was to Italy two years ago. The best day was walking through The Forum in Rome on a rainy day (no other tourists) with a Rick Steves travel book. I felt like I had the whole of antiquity to myself for two hours.
It looks like you have a fabulous time in Mexico. Keep posting pictures!
